It's now been over ten years since I've started my blog.  My life is definitely much different than when I started this blog (right after my honeymoon), especially since having kids and retiring from Kodak.  There has been a bit of sadness, but a lot more joy to balance everything out.  I am fortunate to have a wonderful family and a great set of friends that are like family to me.

I'm having surgery to remove my gallbladder on Tuesday.  I'm a little nervous about it, but it's such a routine procedure that it shouldn't really be a problem.  The number of people that have offered to help us out while I recover is overwhelming.  It's nice to feel loved.  :)  (And it will be nice to feel healthier than I have been lately.)  The tough part will be having to sit around and recover.  I'm not so good at that.
